Fund Raising:

The Franklin Education Foundation hosts an annual Adult and Student Spelling or Trivia Bee and the newly added Harlem Wizards Basketball spectacular. Monies raised through our events provide up to $2500 per approved and funded grant and up to $5000 for the pinnacle award winner.

  • The annual Trivia Bee allows teams of three to enter and enjoy friendly competition while contributing to the FEF grants program and endowment fund.
  • Businesses, organizations, groups or individuals may sponsor teams in the Bee for $300. Multi-sponsor teams are accepted. Others who wish to support the Bee but do not wish to sponsor a team may make a donation in any amount.
  • The annual Wizards game featuring “Team FPS” includes teachers and staff from Franklin Public Schools. We get a crowd of 1,200 students, parents and children easily filling the Tri-County Regional Vocational High School gymnasium!
  • This is FEF’s largest and most visible fundraiser of the year. Your sponsorship will highlight that your business supports Franklin Public Schools and the larger Franklin community. We have numerous opportunities at various levels to support the fundraiser and promote your business to the Franklin community.

The Foundation includes members of the diverse Franklin community - families, community leaders, local organizations, educational institutions, business & industry - who support the common goal of academic excellence for the children of Franklin.
